Ben 10 version of King Arthur
So I recently had the idea of what would Ben 10's version of King Arthur would be like, so I had an artist draw it, but now I am interested in writing a bio for this version of the legendary once and future king, so feel free to write your ideas in the comments
I'd like to read the past featured series. I vaguely remember there being a list of past series but I...forgot how to access it. If someone could reply to this with the link and/or the way to get the said page,
Hey, you! Yeah, you! Stop browsing for a sec and listen to me, would ya?
Alright, here's the deal. This uh, "Ben 10 Fan Fiction" of yours is being put under strict quarantine. Nobody outside the site gets in, nobody inside the site gets out. Them's the rules.
Now eh, don't misunderstand the situation here, this ain't because of no COVID virus or whatever you people on Earth got goin' on. It's eh, moreso just because you people are unbelievably terrible; I mean just look at this.
Is this just what socially inept humans do when they don't get love and affection growing up? I don't like it, not one bit, and the actual writing around here ain't exactly what ya might call "Gucci" in the language of today's youth. So eh, yeah, just stay in here and for the love of Primus don't spread this to other communities.
Other than that ehhhhhhhh have a nice day, I guess. I'm leavin'.
Oh and happy April Fool's ya jabronis.
Ten years.
This wiki has been alive and kicking for ten full years now.
I don't even have a joke for that it's just mindblowing.
As the oldest active user on the wiki, I can tell you that this place has changed a lot over the years, and so have the users. A lot of people grew up with this wiki, and the wiki grew along with them. BTFF is a community that really had no right to last this long and draw in so many people, but it did anyway, and that's genuinely incredible.
So, what should we discuss for the tenth anniversary? Honestly, I think anything goes. Talk about your favorite parts of this community, whether it be memories, events, aliens, characters, or heaven forbid even the actual fanfictions! Point is, take a moment to reflect on what makes this place special for you and why you think it's maintained such longevity.
I don't know where we'll be in another ten years; maybe this wiki will still be alive, maybe it'll be as dead as OV's toy sales. Either way, whatever future everyone here will have, I hope it's a good one. Happy tenth anniversary, BTFF, and thank you to everyone that's kept this wiki going for so long. Have a great decade!
Who would like to work with me on my series called Ben 10: Into the Omniverse?
We, the bureaucrats, have decided that 'Category:Characters' should no longer be added to Omnitrix alien pages as the aliens aren't really characters by themselves. They're more like avatars, which is the reason gender-based and hero/villain categories don't apply to them either. Anyway, I just wanted to put this out there to keep everyone informed. Please keep this mind from now on as it is a rule. Thank you for reading this post and have a nice day!
This week alone, we've had a bunch of people break the rules, so I'm making this thread to remind everyone about certain things.
You can only use someone else's art if you ask them for permission and post proof of the artist allowing you to use their art. If they don't explicitly grant you permission, you can't use their art at all. Editing their art without permission also counts as stealing. The same goes for things like other people's characters.
You can only edit pages on the wiki that don't belong to you if you intend to do cleanup or fix grammar. Anything else requires permission from the creator of the page.
While on the subject of grammar, we're really trying to maintain some level of good grammar on all pages, so if you've been told/you think that your grammar could use some work, please read the Grammar Guide.
If English is not your first language and you're more comfortable using other languages, please move to one of the other BTFFs. You can find some of these wikis under the 'Other' tab on the navigation bar.
One editor, one account.
One editor: You and you alone should use your account. Under no circumstances should you share your account with your siblings or friends. If your sibling or friend breaks one of the rules using your account, we will take appropriate action, regardless of who was using the account at the time of the offense.
One account: No exceptions. If you want to use a new account, inform the admins beforehand and we'll block your old account and leave your new account alone. Creating another account to evade a block will result in your main account being blocked for a longer period of time.
We direct you to the rules when giving you warnings for a reason. If you received a heads-up or warning and you haven't read them, please do so at your earliest convenience. If you're a new user, please also read the Ultimate Guide to a New User.
Thank you for reading this post. I hope this cleared things up. If you have any questions, go ahead and leave them below and I (and the other admins) will answer them to the best of my ability.
So, in the show, the omnitrix is decently handwavy. However, I was wondering if anyone had a theory on either its power source, mechanism for transformation, or any other feature the omnitrix has. I ask this because it seems like it would make the show seem more worldly and allow people who create fanfiction a good source of ideas to differenitate their omnitirixes in their respective shows.
My theory:
1) The omnitirix's power source would need to be a matter destroyer of some sort since it is the only way to create enough power to create the amount of mass and for it to be able to recharge.
2) The omnitirix's transformations are hybrids of the user shown through the cannon difference between Ben's wildmutt and the species in general.
3) The transformation time seems not to be limited by the blood stream, so I doubt it is one substance that the watch spues into the user. I surmise it might work on nanotechnology with the ability to act as viruis and nanofactotries powered by the same respective system that powers the watch. Since the rapid cell division would likely cause cancer, I estimate that it binds to the user through modifying their DNA into an evolved form with improvements ment to protect the user.
4) (Based on 3) The nanobots after being produced by the omnitrix then either decide to infect cells or to help in other parts of the transformation based on an ion-trapped quantum computer which tries surveys all possible molecular combinations.
5) The nanobots make linear chains like our cells do that folds into macrostructures that way allowing massive linear parrallism which could help distribute the thermodynamical issue of heat and mechanical limitations.
6) The mass is produced through three power sources: a kugleblitz (black hole bomb) that takes matter to add rotational energy to the black hole surrounded by mirrors to increate the frequency of weak laser light to produce power, a fusion generator based on the recently proprosed 10G design, and, although unlikely and probably nonexistant, zero point energy generator based on the Casimir effect and gas propogation (gas is pushed upon either being destoried or accelerated either way propelled by the Casimir force, so it unlockes the energy of matter as opposed to free energy to make it slightly more likely) which is resetted by an electromaget.
7) The mass is reset through the kugleblitz turning it back into energy which creates matter and antimatter.
8) The weight is stored in a neutron sphere like a neutron star, however it is in clumps which are lifted through simple hermonic oscillator which throws the chunks up at different frequencies stablized from external forces such as the user running through an electromagnetic enclosure like a gugglier throwing chainsaws in the air only to feel the weight of each one at different instances. I figured it is more realistic and simple than gravity control.
9) The information, the DNA digital storage of the new model of omnitrix, is storied in DNA storage ironically with compression and common protein sections. So, the omnitirix could replace DNA sections with similarly functioning ones based on its assessment.
10) The transformation process occurs in several steps: the nanobots change skin cells, reduce pain, and travel to infect interior cells; the nanobots create an exoskeleton which functionally acts like the alien in the intermitten; the nanobots create neural stimulation to the exoskeleton; the modified cells with cancer suppression genes grow into the skeleton fuelled by the nanobots; and the nanobots repair cells and provide structural changes such as goop's gravity satelight.
11) The omnitirix uses an AI system that uses a silicon and biological processor with a quantum coprocessor that processes battle plans, DNA, and the user.
12) The omnitirix uses a simulator as well to allow for evolved functionality and battle analysis.
13) If possible, it uses a connection to a remote location such as a portal of some sort to expand it processing power, storage compacity, matter creation, and power restoration. Since, although 1-12 suggestions have been made in light of making it a singular unit, it still may not be enough.
Features:
All omnitirix V2's ability and the ultimatrix
Add anything you want! (it can do almost anything)
Notes: Use my theory if you want but tell me about it if you can since I would like to see it.
Thank you for your time.
Wow, it's uh been a while, hah... ok I'm going to get to the point (nothing in the rules is strictly against this sort of thing, just checked, so if I am, please notify me).
Happy 10th, BTFF (if it still goes by that)! I can't believe this wiki has been up for 10 years, it feels like just yesterday it was 2013 and I was making my first, very sloppy writing. I can't believe how far this place has grown. So many people gone, so many new people, tis' the way of life. The More Things Change, THe More Things Stay the Same as it goes.
To a good community, I salute you. Happy 10 years, and to another 10 more!
Nine years ago today, BTFF was created by Duncan Crook. This has made many people angry and is generally regarded as a bad move.
Seriously speaking, nine years is impressive for any website, let alone a wiki, and let alone even further a Ben 10 fan fiction wiki. Say what you want about the general quality of the franchise or even the wiki itself, but anything that can inspire people to create fan content for nine years must have SOMETHING going for it.
I think for this anniversary thread, I'd like for us to discuss what we actually LIKE about this franchise and this wiki that keeps us coming back. Some of us may rag on Ben 10 and BTFF a lot, but at the end of the day, we're still here anyway. What is it about this whole thing that makes it so special?
For me, Ben 10 is really what introduced me to the "Transforming Hero" concept, which I fell in love with almost immediately. I was banned from watching Power Rangers as a kid, so I was never introduced to the idea until I ran across Ben 10 about a decade ago. I was instantly hooked, and the rest is history.
As for this wiki, it was sort of a safe haven for me from what you could call a less-than-fantastic childhood. We give each other a lot of crap now and again, but it's mostly in good fun. The wiki was one of the few places I had where I could interact with people that shared some of my interests and seeing the effort some of the users here put into their creations is what inspired me to pursue art and writing in the first place.
BTFF isn't perfect; far from it, in fact. We could bring up the flaws it has for days, but I think we do that enough already. Like I said before, post down below what you actually like about Ben 10 and this wiki, and maybe we can all stop being so cynical for a couple minutes.
Flaws, fun, and all, Happy Anniversary, BTFF!
Considering that Aaron and I have been extremely busy and haven't been keeping up with the wiki as we should be, we decided that we needed a third admin on the team again. All things considered, there was no better choice than UltiVerse, who has previous experience as an admin and watches over the wiki on the daily. I'd like to thank Ulti for agreeing to become admin again and congratulate him on the return. We trust that he'll be a great help for the wiki.
As the name says, need help with figuring out names for a male Tetramand, Pyronite, Petrosapien and Appoplexian. I will more then likely have other aliens but these are the main four right now. For the Petrosapien, I was planning on going for Shard but someone else had already made an topic with the name so I had to throw that idea out the window
When I try to divide two tables between a word, it doesn't work and the word shows up on top of the first table. Does anyone know how to stop this?
Here at Ben 10 Fan Fiction wiki, multiple current and former users have expressed their complaints with constant generic "____ 10" series being made all the time, and as the administrators of this wiki, we take your concerns very seriously. As such, we have opted to ban the number '10' from this wiki altogether.
If you don't change the name of your "____ 10" series to something without the number 10 in it within 15 minutes we are legally allowed to ban you. Anyone who mentions the number 10 will be sent to the Shame Gulags and sentenced to hard labor. This is your only warning.
Also since it's Easter we changed the wiki background to be a fun rabbit. How wacky!
Have a good day, and remember, Big Furry is always watching.
(Also happy April Fool's you fools)
